本屆奧運會將於2008年8月在北京舉行，能夠籌辦奧運成為全國一大盛事，值得普天同慶！而為了迎接盛事誕生，RoadShow早於三月下旬開始，就聯同新華社率先於全港流動媒體上，播放【奧運短信】及【奧運點將錄】兩個資訊節目。而與此同時，一連串奧運特備節目亦將陸續推出，帶領每日四百萬乘客觀眾一齊支持奧運，投入中國精神.
為了隆重其事，RoadShow假紅磡都會海逸酒店舉行記者會，並邀請有份參予是次奧運系列節目的古巨基和Kubi，聯同RoadShow副主席伍穎梅小姐，一起為一連串精彩節目揭開序幕！而於記者會中除播放節目精彩片段外，古巨基 & Kubi更會暢談合作參予是次RoadShow奧運節目的感受。

London, Great Britain – A1GP World Cup of Motorsport
celebrated the end of its 2007/08 season with a glittering Gala Awards dinner
at the Hilton Park Lane
in London on
Monday 5 May. Teams, drivers, sponsors and officials gathered to pay tribute to
the memorable achievements of the season, including Switzerland
clinching the championship, Ireland
being the most improved team and Canada’s Robert Wickens claiming
the Rookie prize.
Tony Teixeira, Chairman of A1GP, presented A1
Team Switzerland
with the World Cup trophy and congratulated all 22 nations on an incredible
third season of competition.
